Precision Engineered Reset Systems

Reset Dynamics was founded in 2019 by Wes Holloway, a former aerospace CNC machinist who transitioned to precision firearms work in 2015. After spending four years as lead gunsmith at a Tier 1 AR-15 manufacturer, Wes identified critical performance gaps in standard trigger reset mechanisms across both Glock and AR platforms.

Our operation began with a single Haas VF-2SS machining center and a commitment to solving reset timing inconsistencies that plague mass-produced trigger systems. Wes personally developed and tested over 200 prototype iterations, documenting force curves, reset angles, and engagement surfaces with laboratory-grade measurement equipment.

Every component in our catalog undergoes minimum 5000-cycle testing under controlled conditions. We measure reset force to within ±0.05 lb, sear engagement to 0.0005" tolerance, and surface finish to 8-16 μin Ra depending on application. This data-driven approach eliminates the guesswork from trigger tuning.

Our current product line represents the 7th generation of forced-reset mechanisms, incorporating hardened 4140 steel, precision-ground tool steel pins, and custom heat treatment protocols developed specifically for high-cycle firearm applications.

We maintain an in-house test facility with universal testing machines, optical comparators, and high-speed cameras capable of 10,000 frames per second analysis. This allows us to validate every design iteration against real-world performance requirements rather than theoretical models.
